After breakfast, meet your local guide and enter the old Medina through Bab Boujloud. Walk through its lively streets and discover places such as the Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, traditional tanneries, and the artisan quarters.
Along the way, you will see how leatherworkers, metalworkers, woodworkers, and other craftsmen continue traditional skills passed from one generation to another. You will also have time to enjoy lunch and explore the souks at your own pace.

Today is one of the longest driving days, but it is also one of the most varied. After breakfast, leave Fes behind and head towards the Middle Atlas.
Your first stop is Ifrane, known for its different architecture and mountain setting. From there, continue through the cedar forests and higher landscapes of the Middle Atlas before reaching Midelt, a good place to stop for lunch.
The scenery changes again as you continue south towards the Ziz Valley. From the viewpoints above the valley, you can see the contrast between the rocky mountains and the green palm-filled oasis below.
By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara. Leave the vehicle and begin your camel trek towards the dunes. As the sun starts to fall, the sand changes color and the desert becomes wonderfully quiet.
After sunset, continue to your desert camp for dinner, music, and a night beneath the open sky.

Rissani is a traditional town with a strong connection to the surrounding desert communities. Depending on the day, you may have the chance to see its lively market and local atmosphere.
Continue through the changing landscapes of southeastern Morocco, passing palm groves and small villages before reaching Tinghir and the spectacular Todra Gorges. Here, towering rock walls rise on both sides of the valley, creating one of the most impressive natural stops of the journey.

The ksar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is an excellent example of traditional pre-Saharan earthen architecture.
