Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Your 3-Day Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga begins with an early morning departure from Marrakech. Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Marrakech
Today, we recommend waking up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. As the first rays of sunlight illuminate the desert, the landscape transforms into shades of gold and orange, creating an unforgettable scene.
Following breakfast, you return by camel or 4×4 to the village of Merzouga. Then, we begin our journey back to Marrakech. Our first stop is Rissani, the historic capital of the Tafilalt region. If it’s market day, you’ll have the chance to explore one of southern Morocco’s largest traditional souks, where locals trade spices, dates, livestock, and handmade goods.
Next, we continue through Alnif and Nkob before reaching the beautiful Draa Valley, home to Morocco’s longest river and thousands of palm trees. Along the way, we enjoy several scenic stops before arriving in Ouarzazate.
