Day-by-Day Itinerary : 4 days trip from Marrakech to Fes
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate - Boumalene Dades
Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Marrakech. Leaving the busy streets behind, we head towards the High Atlas Mountains, one of Morocco’s most impressive natural regions.
As we cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, you will enjoy spectacular mountain views, winding roads, and traditional Amazigh villages built along the hillsides. We will make several stops along the way to admire the scenery and capture memorable photos.
Next, we continue to Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient fortified village, built with traditional earthen architecture, has appeared in famous productions such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. You will have time to explore its narrow alleys and discover the history behind this remarkable place.
After the visit, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara. Here, you can enjoy lunch and visit the impressive Taourirt Kasbah, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Morocco.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, stopping along the way to watch a magical sunset.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert Discovery Tour

We begin with a visit to Khamlia, famous for its Gnawa music. Local musicians will welcome you with powerful rhythms and songs rooted in African traditions.
Next, we head off-road to M’Fis, an old village once known for its galena mines. You’ll explore the remains and learn about the miners’ hard lives and the mineral’s traditional uses.
Later, you’ll meet a nomadic family living near the dunes. Inside their Berber tent, enjoy a cup of tea while learning about their daily life and traditions in the desert.
